Disney World Breakfast Under $8 Is Actually Happening
Breakfast has always been the hole in Disney Springs.
Not a quality problem. A quantity one. The district runs on lunch, dinner, and late-night shopping. Stores open mid-morning. Most restaurants stay locked until 11 a.m. Want an early bite before a park day? Good luck.
That is starting to shift.
Chicken Guy!, the Guy Fieri spot in Town Center, has added weekend breakfast. The restaurant built its name on all-natural tenders and a wall of house-made sauces, and it has been one of the busiest quick-service spots in the district since day one.
Now it opens before its neighbors do.
The Hours
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Start time is a little unclear. The restaurant has been listed as opening at 8:30 a.m. for breakfast, while Disney’s own Disney Springs page shows a 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. breakfast window for Saturday, August 29.
Breakfast ends at 11 a.m. either way, when the regular menu takes over through the evening. Weekdays, no breakfast. Doors at 11 a.m. as always.
Planning an early morning? Check the app the night before.
Sandwiches
The prices here are the story.
- Chicken, Egg & Cheese Sandwich, crispy chicken, freshly cracked egg, cheddar, special sauce, brioche bun, $7.49
- Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich, smoked bacon, freshly cracked egg, cheddar, special sauce, brioche bun, $6.99
- Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich, breakfast sausage, freshly cracked egg, cheddar, special sauce, brioche bun, $6.99
- Sausage Biscuit, breakfast sausage on a buttery biscuit, $5.49
- Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit, breakfast sausage, freshly cracked egg, cheddar, special sauce, buttery biscuit, $6.49
A $5.49 sausage biscuit on Disney property in 2026 is close to unheard of. That price pulls cast members and locals, not just tourists.
Specialties
Here is the real menu.
- Chicken & Waffles, crispy tenders stacked with a fresh made buttermilk waffle, powdered sugar, whipped maple butter and syrup on the side, $7.49
- French Toast Sticks coated in sweet apple and cinnamon cereal crunch, whipped maple butter and syrup, $7.49
- Breakfast Wrap, chopped tenders, scrambled eggs, breakfast tots, cheddar, flour tortilla, salsa, $6.99
- Breakfast Bowl, chopped tenders, scrambled eggs, breakfast tots, cheddar, smoked bacon, salsa, $7.49
Chicken and waffles are the headliner, obviously. A chicken tenders restaurant putting it on the breakfast menu at $7.49 is the correct move.
But watch the French Toast Sticks. Apple cinnamon cereal crunch coating is peak Guy Fieri, and it is the item most likely to blow up on social.
Sides and Combos
Breakfast Tots, $2.99.
Make anything a combo with breakfast tots plus coffee or hot tea. Juice or iced coffee instead runs $1 more.
That lands most orders around $10 to $11 with a drink. At Walt Disney World. For breakfast.
Why This Works
The timing is smarter than it looks.
Weekend mornings at Disney Springs are a dead zone. Guests at nearby resorts, locals with passes, anyone holding a late park reservation, all of them wandering a district where nothing is open.
Opening before 11 a.m. Friday through Sunday drops Chicken Guy! in front of that crowd with essentially zero competition. It also grabs people heading to the parks who want something faster and cheaper than a resort sit-down.
And the sauces are the hidden edge. A menu built on chicken, eggs, and tots is basically engineered for dipping.

If you have ever spent a Saturday morning at Disney Springs staring at closed doors, this one matters. Chicken and waffles for $7.49 before 11 a.m. is a reason to show up early, and the district has needed one.
