Disney World Price Hikes Hit Fantasmic! as EPCOT Experience Reaches $194

Walt Disney World guests have another set of price changes to consider when planning their next vacation.

This time, Disney is targeting some of the resort’s premium dining and nighttime entertainment options.

Several Fantasmic! Dining Packages at Disney’s Hollywood Studios now cost more, while EPCOT has introduced a new pricing model for its adults-only GEO-82 Fireworks Experience.

The increases vary depending on the experience, restaurant, and even the date guests choose.

Hollywood Studios Dining Packages Receive New Prices

For guests who don’t want to worry about securing a seat for Fantasmic!, Disney offers dining packages that combine a meal with guaranteed seating for the nighttime spectacular.

Four restaurants participate, and adult prices have increased at every location.

The adult package at 50’s Prime Time Café has gone from $60 to $62. Children continue to cost $23.

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant saw its adult price climb $3, moving from $59 to $62. Its children’s package also remains $23.

Guests choosing the more expensive Hollywood Brown Derby option will now pay $84 per adult instead of $83. Children remain at $31.

Hollywood & Vine also received several adjustments.

Breakfast now costs $68 for adults and $43 for children, compared to the previous prices of $67 and $42.

For lunch and dinner, adults now pay $83 instead of $82.

Curiously, children actually received a small price reduction for lunch and dinner. That package now costs $52, down from $53.

For families, the final impact will depend heavily on which restaurant they select and how many people are traveling.

EPCOT Moves GEO-82 Away From One Fixed Price

The bigger structural change is happening at EPCOT.

Disney previously charged $179 per person for the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience. Instead of replacing that figure with another fixed price, Disney has adopted date-based pricing.

The experience now ranges from $179 to $194 per person.

That means the previous $179 price hasn’t disappeared entirely. Guests can still pay that amount on certain dates.

Others, however, could spend an additional $15 per person.

The experience is limited to guests 21 and older and combines food and drinks with a guaranteed location to watch Luminous: The Symphony of Us.

Champagne, small desserts, and a tasting tower are included.

For a couple, the difference between booking at the lowest and highest price would be $30.

It also means guests with flexible vacation schedules may want to compare different dates before making a reservation rather than assuming the price will remain the same throughout their trip.

Premium Disney Experiences Keep Getting Pricier

The latest adjustments are part of a much larger pricing shift around Walt Disney World.

Disney has also raised prices elsewhere, including food and beverages, tickets, select tours, and Magic Kingdom fireworks dessert parties.

For guests, that means the overall cost of a vacation can increase even when each individual adjustment appears relatively small.

The Fantasmic! Dining Package increases are a good example. Paying another $1, $2, or $3 may not sound dramatic until that increase is multiplied across several people and combined with higher costs elsewhere.

GEO-82’s change could be more noticeable because the highest price is now $15 above the previous fixed rate.

Disney World continues to offer plenty of optional experiences for guests willing to spend beyond the cost of admission. The question for families is increasingly becoming which of those extras still fit comfortably within their budgets.

With another round of increases now in effect, Fantasmic! Dining Packages and EPCOT’s GEO-82 Fireworks Experience are two more expenses guests will need to factor into the cost of their next Disney World trip.
